Why this work

Over two decades in nursing, one thing became clear: the hardest part of a health crisis is rarely the medicine. It's the confusion — the discharge papers nobody explained, the medication list that keeps growing, the specialist appointments that need coordinating while the whole family is exhausted.

Helping Hands exists to close that gap. Not to replace your doctors, but to sit beside your family as someone who speaks both languages — clinical and human — and has the time to make sure nothing gets lost in between.

By offering this entirely remotely, the support can reach a daughter in another state, a spouse working full-time, or a patient who simply cannot face another waiting room.

Our approach

Three promises we keep

01

We explain, we don't overwhelm

Every conversation ends with a written summary in plain language — what matters now, what to watch for, and what to ask next.

02

We respect your whole family

Care decisions involve people, not just patients. We welcome spouses, adult children, and caregivers on the same call.

03

We stay reachable

Healthcare doesn't pause at 5pm. Our concierge model keeps a direct line open as new questions and changes arise.
